J. R. Salisbury writes historical romance filled with strong, sassy heroines, perfectly imperfect heroes, and love stories shaped by the worlds they inhabit.

Dividing her time between the U.S. and U.K., J. R. draws inspiration from Britain’s rich history, its country houses and landscapes, and the stories that seem to linger in places touched by the past. Her romances journey from Regency drawing rooms and country estates to the Victorian era and the rugged landscapes of Scotland.

When she isn’t writing, J. R. can often be found exploring the history that inspires her stories—with her mischievous Yorkie, Sammi, never too far from the adventure.
